Welcome! We are located in Nashville, Tennessee and have one monk residing in our temple. There will be many other monks visiting our site periodically who will assist you in independent Buddhist studies consisting of Zen Teachings and Zen Meditation. Our main instructional materials come from the websites <Buddhanet.net> (for English speakers) and <ThuVienHoaSen.org> (for Vietnamese speakers). You can access these internets at home or at our temple.
Phat An temple exercises an open-arm policy. We open our arms warmly to welcome people of any race, age, social class, and religion to the temple. There is an hour-and-a-half service every Saturday at 6 PM. In addition to weekly services, there are other means and abundant opportunities to assist people interested in the Buddha’s teachings.
